Adults are invited to join us next Wednesday, June 24, at 2 pm for a guided tour of the Old Jonesborough Cemetery led by the Heritage Alliance! You will have the chance to stroll the cemetery and hear the stories of the people buried there. Registration is required! You can visit the Jonesborough front desk or call 423-753-1800 to sign up. We will meet at the cemetery near 233 Main Street, on the top of the hill from First Baptist Church!
We have more than just books! Join our Friends of the Library for a pop-up sale! Join us Saturday, June 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Jonesborough Library for our Pop-Up Vintage Book Sale. Along with lots of vintage books, we'll also have jigsaw puzzles and oversized books looking for new homes. Come treasure hunting, stock up for summer reading, or find that perfect puzzle for a rainy day. Best of all, every purchase supports library programming.
The Washington County Public Libraries, Jonesborough and Gray Branch Library, will be closed on Friday, June 19, for Juneteenth. We will reopen on Saturday, June 20.
