Jonesborough Library – Everyone is invited to attend the Donated Book Sale Fundraiser under the big top tent, hosted by the Washington County Friends of the Library on September 26-28, 2024!

Stroll through aisles of books generously donated by community members, guaranteed to offer a diverse selection that appeals to a wide range of interests at exceptional prices.

“Our Friends of the Library Book Sale has been a community favorite for more than 25 years,” said Jerome Bowers, Washington County Library Foundation board member. “Fundraisers like the book sale are what funds the programs at the library, such as summer reading, storytime, and community outreach programs.”

Whether a bookworm or bargain hunter, you can uncover hidden gems that make great additions to personal libraries, thoughtful gifts, and unique educational materials for teachers, students, and knowledge seekers.

• Thursday, September 26- 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Friday, September 27-9 a.m.-8 p.m.
• Saturday, September 28- 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Highlights:
Special Book Sale Preview: Thursday, September 26 from 9 a.m. – noon, the Friends of the Library will offer a special “Friends Only” preview, with memberships available at the door! Arrive early and discover those books you’ve been hoping to find, and unexpected, rare treasures before they are gone.
• Volunteer-run: The Book Sale is completely volunteer-run by committed book enthusiasts who are happy to help match other book lovers to their next great read.
