We invite you to join us for three weeks of exploration, discovery, and rewards! Our library has teamed up with the Jonesborough community to bring you a virtual alternative to the beloved Haunts and Happenings event.

Our resident ghost, Laura the Librarian, is welcoming everyone back to Tennessee’s oldest town for another chapter of our virtual Trick-or-Treat event: Ghoulish Goodies! Laura is making it a little different this year!

How It Works: Participating businesses in Jonesborough’s Main Street district will have the codes easily displayed in their windows and they will be changed every Monday. The businesses will be divided into four groups each week, with each group having a collective badge. Each badge will be worth a small bag of candy and tickets to enter into our raffles.

Each week there will also be one secret badge that you can earn for a full-sized candy bar! These secret codes will be located inside a few select businesses. Some codes may earn you an instant reward from the business itself!

On October 24th, the event ends and we will put together your personalized Trick-or-Treat bags based on the badges you earned! Your bags will be ready to be picked up in-person or via our Curbside Service at the Jonesborough Library beginning October 25th.
